Interests Outside Lab: Baking and hiking
I am an undergrad from the University of Washington majoring in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Psychology. Currently, I work on overexpression of immature and mature HIV capsid proteins and purification of those proteins. I also transform E.coli bacterial cells with plasmids containing the target genes for the expression of immature and mature HIV capsid proteins and specific antibiotic resistance. I will also be studying the properties of immature and mature HIV capsid proteins. Outside of the lab, I enjoy hiking and baking.
