I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington, majoring in BS Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and BS Biochemistry. I have completed a summer research project using CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing techniques to generate a knockout cell line and perform differentiation. My project was presented in the lab meeting and UW Undergraduate Research Symposium. I am currently working on verifying cell lines KO efficiencies and generating single clone lines for research. I am interested in T cell signaling and immunotherapy for cancer, which drives me to pursue a PHD in immunology in the future. Fun fact: I am a “cereal” killer.
